The popular Santa Dash fun run returns to Glasgow on December 11th this year.

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND, November 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Glasgow's annual Santa Dash offers people the opportunity to raise money for a good cause while racing through the streets of the city dressed as Father Christmas.
 
Taking place on Sunday December 11th this year, the festive fun run starts and finishes at George Square.
 
Entry is priced at GBP15 for adults and GBP5 for children, with a Santa suit for each participant included in the fee.
 
People can register online at the Glasgow City Council website and the nominated charities for 2011 are due to be confirmed shortly.
 
The 2010 Santa Dash, which was postponed until January this year due to the severe weather conditions in December, attracted more than 3,000 runners.
 
Those who do not fancy taking part can simply turn up on the day, relax and enjoy the spectacle of a huge crowd of Santas making their way along the five-kilometre route.
 
All entrants will be sent a race pack before the event and Santa suits will be available for collection from Glasgow's St Enoch Centre nearer the time.
